  • Design, develop and deliver high quality and robust custom solutions for business use by various brands and functions

  • Aid in the development of the group wide ESP solution in relation to installation, custom monitoring and reporting programs, utilising the Zabbix monitoring solution and coding end applications in C#
  • Provide consultancy and deployment of “special” projects or non-standard installations, including software migrations. This also includes being the liaison to third party companies for interface development within the company product line
  • Manage the deployment of company products to customers through the use of the Octopus software solution

  • Development, installation, management and support of Windows Servers across 31 remote sites, including Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003, Small Business Server 2003 and Windows Server 2000
  • Setup and management of Microsoft Exchange 2003 across multiple sites and also the setup and management of a centralised Exchange 2007 system for non small business sites
  • Setup and management of all server roles within the company including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, FTP, IIS, Print Management, File Servers, Backup Servers, WINS, Remote Access and Routing plus Terminal Servers
  • Setup of the company WAN using VPN links between sites. This included configuration and management of professional router and firewall hardware devices
  • IT project management, e.g. developing each hotels IT systems and to integrate each solution into a centrally hosted environment. This involved migrating each hotel to a server based environment that would link into the company’s domain across the WAN and to our central servers
  • Support of all IT systems across the company. This involved diagnosing and solving all hardware and software issues as well as providing standard desktop support for all users
  • Plan the IT system infrastructure for a new £100 million hotel build in central London and to manage the integration into the head office IT system. This involved managing budgets and providing sufficient documentation to the board of directors in order to meet with the companies requirements
  • Develop in house multi-site software solutions using Delphi programming language and the build/management of SQL databases
  • Manage the central IT team from web designers through to desktop support staff
